“Expressive Journey: Listening to the Soul” workshop

DESCRIPTION: We will activate our creativity through movement, embracing somatic, emotional and mental levels of experience and expression. We will use intermodal cycles of dance, drawing and poetic language to open up our spontaneous creativity and listen to the voice of the soul.

INSTRUCTIONS: Wear comfortable clothing for movement, bring a sweater or other thermal layer, bring a small mat, rug or blanket for work on the floor. No prior experience is needed.

LOCATION: “Casa Vía Orgánica”, located at Rancho Vía Orgánica on the road to Jalpa, in San Miguel de Allende, GTO

DATE: MARCH 11th   TIME: 10AM-1PM      DURATION: 3 hours

COST: 350 pesos, including supplies and coffee break

The Teacher: Lorena Wolfman, M.A., RSME/T, poet, multi-media artist and facilitator of Expressive Arts for artistic, educational and therapeutic purposes. Holds a master’s degree in Spanish Literature and is a Tamalpa Institute certified Practioner of intermodal movement-based expressive arts and the Tamalpa Life-Art Process™. She has also has completed graduate-level work in Expressive Arts with the European Graduate School and has given workshops in México, Perú and the United States. She works with groups and individuals. She has been a member of a number of dance and movement-based improv groups.
