Haiti, hit in January 1912 by a devastating earthquake, is the poorest country in the hemisphere.

The first priority is to help Haiti. Please donate. Organic Consumers Association recommended Haiti Emergency Relief Fund (Emergency Fund for Haiti) that is focusing its resources on helping organizations in Haiti bases, including those engaged in sustainable agriculture projects, survival and reconstruction. Toxins in the so-called "organic" produce Health and Beauty

Do you wear Jason Pure, Natural & Organic, Avalon Organics, Kiss My Face Obsessively Organic, Nature's Gate Organics, Stella McCartney 100% Organic, Giovanni Organic, Head Organics, Eminence Organic, Physicians Formula Organic Wear, Good Stuff Organics, Desert Essence Organics, or any other "organic cosmetics" certified by Ecocert?

We regret to announce, but these personal care products called "organic" are not really organic and even contain dangerous ingredients that should never be allowed in products certified to the Organic Standards of the Department of Agriculture (USDA acronym in English)

Yesterday, the Organic Consumers Association (OCA acronym in English), along with other companies if they offer brands of personal care products certified organic Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps, Intelligent Nutrients, and Organic Essence, have made a complaint with the Program National Organic (NOP acronym in English) of the USDA, asking them to investigate the blatant practice of false labeling of organic call those other brands in violation of the USDA NOP regulations.

The complaint has been made in favor of the approximately 50 million regular consumers of organic products, arguing that products such as liquid soaps, bath, facial cleansers, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, moisturizers, lip balm, makeup and other cosmetics produced by 12 different corporations, have been propagated, labeled and marketed as "organic" or "organic" when in fact they are not as common as a means organic consumer interested in the environment.
